| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was: creative,outgoing and influential. The three careers that match my style are: interior designer, fashion designer and choreographer.From this information I have decided to explore becoming an interior designer. I selected this job because I enjoy decorating and putting colors together. One of my daily activities as an interior designer would be to plan out my ideas. I also have to find prices for fabics and accesories. In addition, I have to find out if the clients approve of my recommendations.To work as an interior designer, I need to have 6 months of training and either a bachelor's degree or an associate's degree. I must be good at judging and decison making in order to become a well trained interior designer.In the United States, the average salary for a interior designer is $51,020 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $57,233. In the United States by the year 2016, employment for a interior desinger is expected to increase by 19.5%. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016, it is expected to increase by 19.8%. I am looking forward to becoming an interior designer in the future. |
